How Our Service Works

Our friendly callers will phone at an agreed time every day to check that the user is safe and well and that there are no issues or concerns within their home. We will provide all the necessary chit chat and social interaction that happens between two friends.

•  We call at an agreed time every day.

•  If the 1st call is unanswered we call back in 1 hour.   

• If the 2nd call is unanswered then we call back again in an  hour.

• If the 3rd call is also unanswered then we would immediately get in contact with the nominated person/carer/next of kin/Local Authority to let them know which should then prompt a visit to the user’s home.

What is Home to Home Calls?

Home to Home Calls is a daily phone call service to check the welfare of our users. We provide a friendly voice at the end of the phone which goes on to prevent loneliness and allow our users to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. Our service acts independently alongside other health services and our phone call alert system can be directed to a specific family member or nominated person of choice.

The user will receive a phone call per day (on average will last about 5-10 minutes) which will allow them to talk about whatever they choose in the comfort of their own home. Any daily reminders such as taking pills or attending appointments will also be discussed.

Could I choose the time of call that best suits my needs?

Yes, and we encourage you to choose your own regular time that best suits your needs.

Can anybody use the Home to Home Calls Service?

Yes. Our call plans are very flexible and can be adapted to suit varied needs.

What packages/prices do you offer?

I want to sign up for the Holiday Check Service only, how do I do that?

Easy, Just fill in the enquiry form and we can get the process started as soon as possible.

What is discussed within the calls?

Anything you want. The calls are daily so there tends to be great friendships and conversations between the caller and user.

Who are your callers?

Everyday people who understand the importance of the service we provider to our respondents. All of our callers are trained, vetted and DBS checked.

What happens if the recipient doesn’t answer the phone?

If the user fails to answer the phone we will continue to retry before we make an alert call to the nominated person/carer. Our phone call structure can be seen HERE

We also offer a one off Holiday Cover service which allows us to check in when you cannot.
